Apartments - Villa Athina -Pelion Potistika

Villa Athina is a modern traditional style Pilion house. It is situated approx. 60 metres above the beautiful quiet beaches of the Aegean on a small hill looking down the river valley to the beaches of Potistika and Melanie. Surrounded by  approx. 2000 square metres of garden with terraces, the Villa itself is surrounded by olive groves, on a little used, asphalt road. Following this road it will take a mere 3 minutes by foot to reach the beach!

The Villa has its own parking, garden with various areas for sun bathing. Each apartment has garden furniture including sun loungers and an electric grill. There is a sea view from most areas  of the garden.

Each of the five apartments has its own separate outside entrance. Each has a spectacular view of the Aegean sea and the surrounding area. In clear weather it is possible to see as far as mount Athos in the north. All our apartments have at least one balcony or patio with a roof.

 At the bottom of the river valley you will find Potistika beach. One of the most attractive beaches on the Aegean coast you can often find yourself alone or with few other visitors. Take advantage of the beautiful weather and the glorious sunrises throughout the summer. The weekends of mid July to mid August are busier as this is when the majority of Greeks take there holiday.

To the right of Potistika beach is a small hill with a pathway leading to Kourites beach. Even on midsummer weekends you will find a quiet place to swim from here.

Melani means ‘ink’ in Greek and the sea here is the colour of deep blue ink. This big sandy beach is approx. 10 minutes walk along the sea from Potistika and it is very popular with campers during July and August. During the rest of the year you can expect Melani beach to be much quieter.
