Beaches of the aegean sea

At the end of the river valley are some of the finest beaches in Greece. Due to the beaches being sand and fine gravel the water is crystal clear. Surrounded by rocks olive groves bamboo and local plants the sea beckons you in. Many freshwater springs feed into the sea and in August help to lower the water temperature. The water is relatively shallow ( 3-5 metres) and warms quickly as the temperature rise and by May is extremely pleasant.
